This page provides an overview of opening events of the Finance Minor at TU Delft held in recent years.
These opening events are intended to welcome students to the minor, introduce the programme and its themes, and create an early connection between quantitative finance, education and professional practice through talks by academics and practitioners.
The Finance Minor Opening 2025 took place on 2 September 2025 from 14:00 to 17:00 in the Aula (Commissiekamer 3) at TU Delft, followed by drinks at EWI.

The 2025 opening event featured contributions from BlockTech, Rabobank, Robeco and Ortec Finance, covering topics such as high-frequency trading, market making, mathematical finance in banking, electronic execution, predictive modelling and portfolio optimization.
The Finance Minor Opening 2024 took place on 3 September 2024 from 14:00 to 17:00 in the Aula (Commissiekamer 3) at TU Delft, followed by drinks at EWI.

The 2024 programme included perspectives from Ortec Finance, Robeco, KPMG and Female x Finance, with a focus on mathematical finance in practice, buy-side trading, financial risk management and career opportunities in finance.
The Finance Minor Opening 2023 took place on 5 September 2023 from 14:00 to 16:30 in the Aula (Commissiekamer 3) at TU Delft, with drinks afterwards.

The Finance Minor Opening 2022 took place on 6 September 2022 from 13:00 to 15:00 in the Aula (Commissie kamer 2.230) at TU Delft, followed by drinks at the Pub in the basement of the EWI building.
