Multi-GPU high-performance computing framework for ultra high-resolution structural topology optimization

During this one-year PostDoc project, Arnoud Delissen has developed a multi-GPU accelerated linear solver for large-scale topology optimization and applied it to optimizing the interior structures of the Flying V airplane. This was a joint undertaking with the Faculty of Mechanical, Maritime and Materials Engineering and Industrial Design.
